8-3-25 “Integrity” Scriptures

Integrity: (1) “firm adherence to a code of especially moral values”

Psalm 15:1 ~ 5; (Davids question): O Lord, who may abide in Your tent? Who may dwell on Your holy hill? (Gods answer): 2 He who walks with integrity, and works righteousness, and speaks truth in his heart. 3 He does not slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend; 4 In whose eyes the morally corrupt is despised, but who honors those who fear the Lord; He swears to his own hurt and does not change; 5 He does not put out his money at interest, nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken

1st Thessalonians 5:21; But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good

Ezekiel 11:19 ~ 20; And I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them. And I will take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, 20 that they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and do them. Then they will be My people, and I shall be their God

John 13:35; By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another

Philippians 2:4 & Luke 6:31; 4 do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. … 31 Treat others the same way you want them to treat you.

Integrity: (2)“incorruptibility”

Romans 1:21 ~ 25; For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures. 24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. 25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

1st Corinthians 12:2; You know that when you were pagans, you were led astray to the mute idols, however you were led.

Pagan: one who has no religion and believes there's no God

Ephesians 6:24; Grace be to all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love.

John 16:13; But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

Integrity: (3)“completeness”

Matthew 19:16 & 20 ~ 22; 16 “Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life?”

20 The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept; what am I still lacking?” 21 Jesus said to him, “If you wish to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 22 But when the young man heard this statement, he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property.

Luke 8:17 ~ 18; For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. 18 So take care how you listen; for whoever has, to him more shall be given; and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has shall be taken away from him.”

John 8:44; You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

2nd Peter 3:10; But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the (temporary) earth and its (temporary) works will be burned up. (Paraphrased)

Luke 14:28; For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost to see if he has enough to complete it?

Colossians 1:28 & 2:10; 28 We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ. … 10 and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;

A persons conscience informs a persons integrity with what that person believes is right and wrong … a persons integrity is the outward manifestation of acting in accordance with a persons conscience

The accuser, the enemy only works in the “temporary”!

There is no completeness in him … nor is there any in what he offers!
